Dr. Imran Uddin
Dr. Uddin was born in Queens, NY but moved to Edison, NJ at a young age. Over time, he developed an interest in the health sciences. It wasn't until midway through college that he would develop an interest in dentistry. What drew Dr. Uddin to this profession was the fusion of health and art, the ability to help others, and being able to make a positive change in his patients’ lives.
Dr. Uddin received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and received his DMD degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. He then went on to complete his General Practice Residency at Monmouth Medical Center. After finishing dental school, residency, and working in private practice for a few years, he realized that he wanted to have a practice of his own where he could treat patients and make decisions based on his own philosophy. In 2024, he was honored with a Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), earning the esteemed designation of FAGD.
Outside of the office, Dr. Uddin is a self-proclaimed amateur sushi connoisseur. He also enjoys playing basketball in a local league weekly.
Dr. Taliah Khan
As the daughter of a dentist, dentistry has always been in Dr. Khan’s life. She was born in Livingston, NJ, and grew up in Plainsboro, NJ. During her early years, she used to accompany her mom to work, making the dental office her daycare. (Ask to see the photos of her as a baby in the dental chair!) During high school, Dr. Khan took a summer job working at the dental office and knew this was where she belonged. It was then that she came to appreciate the cross-section of fine art and science. From there, dentistry quickly became her passion.
Dr. Khan attended The College of New Jersey where she received her BS in biology with a minor in fine art. She received her DMD degree from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. She continued her training at a General Practice Residency as chief resident at Monmouth Medical Center. Dr. Khan is Botox certified from AAFE and has done additional training in TMD management through the AAFE and RSDM’s Orofacial Pain program.
When she’s not helping patients achieve the smile of their dreams, Dr. Khan can be found baking new recipes or playing with their Siamese kittens, Cloud and Skye!
